THE JALOUSIE PLANTATION, SUGAR BEACH

The name says it all. Ladera’s newly unveiled “Paradise Pavillion” has fast become the island’s premiere wedding locale because it offers the chance to say vows in the heart of St. Lucia’s signature view: an1100-foot vista overlooking the Caribbean sea and the majestic Piton mountains—dubbed “Helen of the Caribbean.” Rooms at the renowned resort are loved less for what’s there than for what isn’t: a fourth wall.
